The Annalene and Daryl Wedding Well

To our wonderful family and friends:

This site is dedicated to a different type of wishing well for wedding gifts. We think you know us well enough to know we don't need for anything and would much rather celebrate our wedding and life together by giving, rather than receiving.

We are asking if you will help us to "sink a well" in Ethiopia. WellWishers is a community organisation that specialises in sinking wells for communities that don't have access to clean wather.

WellWishers goal is to stop Ethiopian women spending an average of 3 hours daily to collect 4 litres of polluted water per person, often from a source shared with livestock; and to stop up to 20% of children under the age of 5 dying from waterborne diseases. Funds will be used to sink water wells in Ethiopia. One well, costing $6,000, will change forever the lives of up to 500 men, women & children.

Considering we feel that we are already "well set up", your contribution towards our well in Ethiopia (which will be named Annalene & Daryl's Well) will mean a great deal to us and far more appreciated by many others that are truly in need.
